Energy Efficiency: What Works

Businesses and institutions across Massachusetts and beyond are struggling to understand energy efficiency approaches and technologies, and to select the right providers to deliver energy efficiency services. The Governor's Clean Energy Challenge was developed by the New England Clean Energy Council in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources to help entities across the Commonwealth make informed decisions and take steps to reduce their carbon footprints.  This panel highlights 3 companies that have successfully navigated these waters: Staples, Raytheon, and Whole Foods.  We will hear three impressive stories of achievement, lessons learned, advice, and what each company plans to do in 2010 and beyond.

Panelists:

Steven Fugarazzo, Manager of Facilities Engineering, Raytheon

Bob Valair, Director of Energy and Environmental Management, Staples

Kathy Loftus, Global Leader, Sustainable Engineering, Maintenance & Energy Management, Whole Foods

Moderator:

Nick d'Arbeloff, President, New England Clean Energy Council

Also present will be high-level representatives of 20 Canadian energy efficiency companies who will be wrapping up a one-week visit to Boston in search of partnerships here, as well as Challenge Participants and other potential clients and partners.

We are thrilled to present this event. If you personally cannot attend, you may designate another representative from your company to attend in your place, but please note that space is limited to 60 attendees.
